If you’ve been following me on this blog for quite some time you already know of my commitment to sustainable fashion, in other words I only fill my closet with pieces that I’ll wear for the long haul. Ninety-percent, if not all of the clothes coming into my wardrobe in recent years are either from sustainable and ethical clothing brands that I’ve thoroughly researched or thrift and consignment shops. However, I do keep purchasing new items to a minimum because fashion waste is a HUGE issue and I do not want to be one more person contributing to that. This would mean that getting creative with the pieces I already own is a must. My closet is small (NYC living), therefore too many clothes can easily overwhelm my space. Not good for my room, my mind or the planet.
